I think I've done just about every job there is to do within school hours! Literally. Now my kids are older, I have managed to create a flexible working situation for myself and my own purpose is to use my journey in life to help others and to pay for my kids' Amazon purchases!
I'm a Mum and co-parent and, for 15 years, I have cultivated work, contracts and businesses that enable me to work but also to be there for my kids; to listen to the after school downloads, make the dinner and to buy fairy cakes for the "homemade" cake sales!

20 years ago the workplace was so different; I used to be a Secretary and had to make my boss a cup of tea at exactly 3.15pm every day. Mental. Leaving school at 16 presented me with so many inferiority challenges with my work and leaving a career to have children only added to that. Returning to work after divorce with limited childcare tested my creativity and ability to ask for help and I would not change any of it as it has all helped me get to this point. It's the piecing together of my own journey that forms the basis of much of my coaching guidance that my clients receive.

Since those tea making jobs, I have 23 years of valuable work and life experience now including recruitment, teaching, coaching, alternative therapies, cleaning, caring and I even worked for a business that collected peoples' dry cleaning!
For your reassurance, I have undertaken formal psychological coaching training with The Institute of Psychosynthesis and am a Member of The EMCC (The European Mentoring and Coaching Council).

I do have this weird way of seeing everything as an opportunity for growth; I am a solutions person which is why I am a coach and not a counsellor. I listen, deeply, then hold your hand as you move forwards. If I can make your path in life a little smoother then I consider I have done a good day's work. If I can show you how amazing you are when you're questioning your own existence; then I have fulfilled MY purpose.

I have a deep empathy for my clients who believe they are worthless when all I see sitting in front of me is a shining star. Life, loss, divorce or a "mid life crisis" may have led them to question their purpose and the work that they do. We work together in a partnership to keep moving forwards.

If you are stuck, don't know what to do about your work, want to set up your own business or just feel like life is too short to "keep doing this", please can you give me a call? Sometimes, we can move mountains in a Discovery Call alone (which is free, by the way).
