Earning Capacity Assessment for Women

The earning capacity assessment is a professional assessment created specifically for women going through divorce, offering a fair and realistic picture of what they could earn now and in the future. It takes into account not only career background and qualifications but also the very real barriers and responsibilities - such as childcare, health, career gaps, and emotional wellbeing that often limit a woman’s ability to work to her full potential.  Other barriers to work could be supporting a partner through their career whilst you worked in the home; my report recognises the impact this has on your life, career and confidence.

This assessment is designed to support financial negotiations during divorce or mediation by providing clear, evidence-based insights into earning capacity, along with tailored career options, example roles, and achievable salary estimates.

With over 25 years of experience in recruitment and career coaching, I create each assessment just as I would assess a job candidate for a real-world position. I consider short, medium, and long-term earning potential, and include a detailed earnings timeline or forecast that reflects your personal circumstances and constraints.

Why This Assessment is Unique

What sets the assessment apart is that it's written by a female UK-based recruitment expert and accredited career coach, not a generic calculator or software tool. My expertise is grounded in:

  • 25+ years of international recruitment and headhunting experience

  • Hundreds of real-world interviews conducted

  • Executive-level candidate assessments

  • Specialist career coaching for women after divorce

I understand what employers are looking for, and I use that insight to create practical, real-world career pathways tailored to each individual.

In addition to the assessment, I offer a six-week career coaching programme designed exclusively for women recovering from divorce. This coaching helps rebuild confidence, work through the emotional fallout, and create a clear, actionable roadmap for returning to work - or transitioning into a new, more fulfilling career or setting up a business.
